Big lots, mature landscapes, high expectations
Five Forks is one of the most established residential areas in Greenville County, and the properties reflect it: larger lots, mature trees, landscapes that were designed rather than defaulted, and neighbourhoods where the standard on your street is set by the houses either side of you.
That changes what maintenance means. A mature landscape needs pruning done properly and on schedule, beds that hold their shape, and turf under heavy tree cover that gets treated differently from turf in full sun. It is more work than a new build, and it is the work we do most here.
Neighborhoods and areas we cover
Across Five Forks and the surrounding area, including Kilgore Plantation, Sugar Creek, Gilder Creek, Batesville, and the properties along Woodruff Road, Batesville Road, Scuffletown Road and Roper Mountain Road Extension.
We also cover the neighbouring areas: Simpsonville, Greenville, Mauldin and Greer.
Shade, roots and old irrigation
Three things come up repeatedly on established Five Forks properties. Shade: turf that thrived when the trees were small will not hold under a mature canopy, and the honest answer is sometimes a bed rather than more seed. Roots: surface roots lifting walks and edging, and competing with turf for water. And ageing irrigation: systems installed with the house that have never been re-zoned as the landscape grew around them.
All three are fixable. None of them are fixed by mowing.
What we do in Five Forks
Hardscape is a big part of our Five Forks work
Larger lots mean room for real outdoor space: patios sized for actual use, retaining walls that make a sloped back yard usable, and steps that make a grade change safe. Every hardscape install carries a two-year workmanship warranty.
