Nothing above ground survives bad ground
Grading is the least visible work we do and the most consequential. A patio on a poorly prepared base moves. Sod on an uncorrected grade sits in water. A shed, a fence line or a driveway on ground that was never compacted properly tells you about it a year later.
It is also the work that is genuinely hard to undo. Fixing a grade after the hardscape and the turf are in means taking them back out first.

Skid steers, track loaders and mini excavators, in-house. That is why we can quote a clearing job at a sensible number and turn up when we said we would. There is no rental to schedule and no rental day rate buried in your price.
It also means a clearing job and the work that follows it are the same crew. The people who set your grade are the people laying the sod or building the patio on top of it, so nobody is inheriting somebody else’s mistake.
Grade and water are the same conversation
Most grading calls we get are really drainage calls. Water pooling against a foundation, a yard that will not dry out, a slope washing out every storm. Those get solved with a combination of regrading and drainage, and deciding which does the heavy lifting is the job.
What happens to the debris
It leaves. Brush, stumps and spoil are hauled off as part of the work rather than pushed into a pile at the back of the property for you to look at, which is a genuinely common way these jobs get finished cheaply.
